Munster Branch Executive Committee wish to announce our sincere regret that, as it has not received a response from the Table Tennis Ireland Events Committee by yesterday 15th November, as requested in a previous email on this subject, the Committee has now taken the decision to defer the holding of a Munster Open for this season. The hope is that the Events Committee will engage with Munster Branch to look at scheduling a tournament later in the current season, but, it is simply too late to enter into financial and logistical arrangements to be able to deliver a national level tournament on 11/12 January from this point onwards.
