Five schools from Munster participated in the recent All Ireland Schools Championships, which were held in Dublin on 1st May. In the Primary Schools Competition Ballinora NS in the Boys and Scoil Nioclais Primary School in the Girls finished third in their respective events. In the Secondary Schools Competition Salesian Secondary School, Pallaskenry, achieved a very creditable second place in the Girls U/15 event, while both Ennis Community College and Colaiste Spioraid Naofa, Cork City, finished third in the U/15 Boys and U/19 Boys events respectively.
