Over last weekend Munster TT competed with Connacht, Leinster and Ulster teams in seven categories from Juniors, Seniors, Veterans to Para at the National Inter Provincial Championships, which were held at Lisburn Racquets Club, Lisburn, NI. Overall, our results were encouraging compared to last year in that we had more teams competing, performances against the stronger Ulster and Leinster teams were better and we achieved two silver medal placings in the Veterans and U/13 Girls events respectively. So, the Munster TT Executive Committee would like to congratulate the players and coaches who contributed to these outcomes. The results for Munster teams are as follows:
Senior: third placing
Veterans: second placing
Para: third placing
U/13 Boys: third placing
U/13 Girls: second placing
U/15 Boys: third placing (great performance from the boys in the silver medal match versus Leinster losing out 4-5 in the end).
U/19 Boys: third placing

The Committee would also like to thank the parents of our Junior players who helped with organising food for players and coaches on the Sunday. a special thank you goes to Stefan for driving up to Lisburn from Cork at very short notice on Saturday afternoon with Jayden to replace a late withdrawal. It was also great to see Senior players supporting the Junior players on the Sunday. The decision to organise a collective meal in the Haslem Hotel in Lisburn on the Saturday night for players and family members alike turned out to be a good one as the group enjoyed some good food and company which went along way to making the weekend an enjoyable one.
The Committee will be reviewing the Inter Pro preparation and performances with the coaches with a view to making improvements for next season.
