Live streaming of matches will be in operation at the Munster Open on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th January. A special feature of the streaming activity will be live commentary and interviews with players, coaches etc. The Organising Committee would greatly appreciate the cooperation of players and coaches alike in this venture.
For Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th a Cash-Only Refreshments Shop will be open on-site, upstairs in the Saile Sports & Community Centre, during the following hours:
Saturday 11-4pm; Sunday 11am-3pm
- With Tea, Coffee, Snacks, Soup and Sandwiches
- PLEASE NOTE: Cash Only, No Credit Cards accepted
- We would appreciate if you could bring correct change where possible

The following age category events will not go ahead at the Munster Open due to the insufficient level of entries received:

U13 girls
U21 Women
The Men’s Singles Group Stage on Friday night is cancelled. Given the level of entries received this event will be run over Saturday 28th.
Players who intend to travel to Cork on Friday evening will have access to the venue between 6 and 9 pm for practice. Munster Branch requests that players who wish to take up this offer to contact the Branch by Thursday 26th at tabletennismunstersecretary@gmail.com. to confirm their attendance.

The 2022 Junior and Senior Munster Open will take place on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd of May at the Saile Sports & Community Centre, Cappagh, Kinsale Co Cork. Eircode: P17 WD21
Entries are now open through our JustGo system and will close at 11pm on Friday 13th of May . All players and coaches are advised to read the Entry Form for full details on the events taking place and tournament regulations.

🏓 Our season opens with a Munster Mixed League which is to be held on Sunday 15th September starting at 10:00 am. Finishing around 3 pm.
Taking place in Knocknaheeny Sports Hall. James Kenneally Sports Centre, Holly Hill Lane, Cork,

The league will be mixed in ability, gender and clubs. Players who enter will be put into different pools of ability. The draw will be done ‘live’ on the day. Each team will have four players from the different pools so that the matches will be very competitive! There will be reverse singles and a doubles per match.
No coaching is allowed except by players who are on your team. Emphasis is on building a stronger Munster identify as well as different clubs engaging positively with each other. We will be encouraging the better players on the teams to support the weaker players.
Fee is 10 euro per player – entry on the day.
Learn to be a Table Tennis Coach with one time world ranked player Jing Yi
Beechhill will run a Special Olympic Inter- Club Competition on 19th May at Knocknaheeny Sports Hall. Four Munster Table Tennis Clubs will compete: Beech Hill, Waterford SO, Cope Foundation Clonakilty and South Tipperary Tigers SO Club .
Beechhill ID players will demonstrate the sport of Table Tennis at Cork Sports Ability in UCC Mardyke Saturday April 6th. This event will showcase sports such as Blind Soccer, Wheelchair Martial Arts and Wheelchair Basketball. It opens up a world of sporting possibility for people with a wide range of disabilities from physical to Intellectual.
