Cork Sports Partnership and Munster Branch Table Tennis Ireland are now taking registrations for the popular Teachers’ Award Coaching Course. The Teachers’ Award is a Table Tennis Ireland initiative aimed at providing a practical introduction to table tennis as well as ideas for coaching activities in primary & secondary schools, youth groups, disability services & clubs. The course will be run by Jing Yi Graham, Table Tennis Ireland’s Women in Sport Coordinator and Table Tennis Ireland Senior Coach.

The Teachers Award Course will provide participants with the knowledge to:
ü Introduce players to the basic skills of table tennis in a fun and exciting way
ü Have the creativity and confidence to deliver table tennis sessions to students
ü Make the skills activities easier or harder for different ability levels
ü Identify where table tennis can be introduced to the school curriculum
