This Tuesday, 6th of April, is World Table Tennis Day. We are hosting a FREE Live “Women in Sport” webinar at 11am. This event will be hosted by some of our female coaches and players. Our event is to promote women in sport in conjunction with the ITTF Foundation initiative of promoting Gender Equality and FEMpowerment.
We would love for you to attend our event. There is a maximum of 100 people that can attend and places are on a first come first served basis. If you are not available to attend this webinar, it will be recorded and displayed on our website afterwards. The event will also be shared live on our Facebook page. We are also organising a Best Video Clips Competition. We are encouraging participants to record their best shots, exercises, activities during (or after) the Live session on 6th April. Throughout the day we will be posting skills for you to try. Prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 most impressive shots, exercises, activities. We encourage you all to join our competition by posting your video clips on our various social media (Twitter (@TableTennisIRE), Table Tennis Ireland (facebook.com) & Table Tennis Ireland @tabletennisireland) and use the hashtags #TTISkillComp & #WorldTableTennisDayIreland. Alternatively, you can send your video clip to our Communication & Education Executive, Shauna Fox, at info@tabletennisireland.ie by Tuesday 13th April 2021. We encourage you to be as creative as you can! If you don’t have a TT bat or ball available, don’t worry, please be as creative as you like with your equipment choice!
